Police have arrested a 17-year-old suspect who fired at a moving vehicle on Friday.
No one was injured during the incident, police said.
Arlington officers responded to a shooting in progress call about 6 p.m. Friday that occurred at South Collins Street and Southeast Green Oaks Boulevard, police said in a statement.
The police call log showed that people in a vehicle had been shot at by someone in a suspected road rage incident, according to Lt. Christopher Cook, Arlington police spokesman.
Officers in the area spotted a vehicle matching the description they had been given and conducted a traffic stop, detaining three individuals, Cook said.
Officers found several spent shell casings during a search of the vehicle but no firearm was recovered, Cook said.
The victim was able to positively identify the shooter, Cook said. The suspect, Marion Cortez Powell, of Arlington, was in the Tarrant County Jail on Saturday, the jail log showed. Powell is facing three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
