A man was killed early Sunday when his vehicle crashed into a traffic signal pole in the 100 block of West Division Street, police said.
The accident occurred about 5:30 a.m. The driver was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There were no other occupants in the vehicle, police said.
“Investigators have not determined the cause of the crash or why the vehicle left the roadway and struck a signal pole,” police said in a statement released about 2:30 p.m. The statement said the Tarrant County medical examiner will release the man’s identity after next of kin are notified.
