A man and a woman from Cedar Hill died in an apparent murder-suicide early Thursday in Grand Prairie, police said.
Detectives are investigating the incident as a domestic violence case.
Police received a 911 call about 12:30 a.m. from a woman in the 1300 block of Southeast Fourth Street, police said.
The woman told the call taker that a man had arrived at her home and was causing a disturbance between her and a woman who was visiting. The woman said the man had left but was still in the area, police said.

As she stayed on the line with 911, the man returned to the home. A short time later, the call taker heard gunshots over the phone.
Officers arrived and found a man dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. Nearby, they found the woman who had been visiting the home dead of multiple gunshot wounds.
