Two men killed in Arlington double homicide identified

The two men who were shot to death Wednesday in Arlington have been identified.

Jordyn Clemons, 20, and Johnathon Phillips, 25, were found dead in an apartment at the 1000 block of Benge Drive near the University of Texas at Arlington campus around 10 a.m., according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.

Officers arrived on scene to find the two men dead of apparent gunshot wounds, a press release said. One was found in a desk chair and one in a living room recliner, according to the Medical Examiner’s site.

Police are working to establish a timeline of what happened as well as interviewing potential witnesses, the press release said.
