Two men braved fire and pulled an elderly woman from her burning home in Arlington Tuesday, Fox 4 News reported.
Ivan Salinas, 19, saw the flames when he was driving a couple streets away, while the woman’s neighbor, Jorge Prado, was just across the street at Spring Garden Drive when he ran over to help, according to Fox 4.
A woman came out from the home and told the men that her mother was still inside. While calling 911, they both ran inside to save the woman, the station reported.

“She was on the floor when I went in so I just pulled her out by her arms,” Prado told Fox 4.
The news station reported that the two women, one in her 50s and one in her 70s, were taken to Parkland Hospital in Dallas with injuries from burns and smoke inhalation.
“I’m glad I could help and pull her out and basically save her life. I mean that’s a good thing, I feel pretty good,” Prado said.
Investigators told the station that the fire began in a back bedroom, but the cause is unclear.
