Police in Alvarado say it appears that a wrong-way driver is to blame for a crash that left at least three people dead — including two children — early Sunday morning.
The 1:30 a.m. accident involved a pickup truck and a car on U.S. 67 — a four-lane, divided roadway — near Baker Lane.
"Preliminary investigation reveals that the Toyota truck was on the wrong side of the highway and traveling in the wrong direction at the time of the crash," police said in a written statement. More at WFAA.com
