The rain started early Monday and should continue overnight before slowing down on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Through 4 p.m. Monday it had rained .30 of an inch, giving us 32.63 inches for the year, which is about an inch above normal.
Scattered showers and light fog should hang around Monday night and early Tuesday, but rain chances dip to 30 percent on Election Day and 20 percent Tuesday night.
Low temperatures will be in the 50s throughout the week with highs in the 60s and low 70s.
