An Arlington man was killed after he stepped into traffic early Thanksgiving morning on Interstate 20, police say.
He was identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner as Dylan Draper, 20.
The incident happened shortly after midnight in the 400 block of I-20, police say. Draper walked across the eastbound lanes of the freeway and was struck by a car in the left lane.
He was transported to Medical City Arlington where he was pronounced dead shortly after 12:30 a.m., according to authorities.
Police say there were two people in the car that hit Draper. Neither was injured, and they are cooperating with the investigation. They aren’t expected to be charged.
