American Airlines and Korean Air announced a codesharing agreement for the Fort Worth airline’s daily flight to Seoul from Dallas/Fort Worth.

The carriers said Korean will place its code on the daily flight that departs DFW around 10:30 a.m. However, the codesharing agreement does not include Korean’s flight from DFW to Seoul’s Incheon airport which operates four times a week.

“The new codeshare cooperation with Korean Air is an important milestone in growing our relationships with carriers around the globe to provide cu stomers access to the destinations they value most,” said American senior vice president of alliances and partnerships Kurt Stache.

Korean is a member of Delta Air Lines’ Sky Team alliance. The codeshare will allow Korean SkyPass members to earn miles while on American’s Seoul flight.
