-United Airlines suspended a pilot after he tweeted that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be hanged, reports Bloomberg News. The pilot is also a Republican West Virginia state representative and has been flying for United since 2008.
-The Air Force may be facing a pilot shortage as more military pilots are hired away by commercial airlines. According to Military.com, commercial airlines are increasing pilot pay by double-digits and unless the Department of Defense nearly doubles the extra pay it gives pilots, the military could lose more pilots.
