Low-cost Mexican carrier Volaris launched new flights between Dallas/Fort Worth and Monterrey, Mexico last week.
Volaris said it will fly the route twice a week using an Airbus A320 aircraft. It’s first flight left DFW on Friday, July 8.
“This route is a testament to our efforts to connect family and friends in both countries - building a network of point-to-point routes to make traveling between Mexico and the U.S. faster and more efficient,” said Miguel Aguiñiga, Volaris senior sales manager. “With this new route, Volaris’ route portfolio from Monterrey increases to 20 routes.”
Volaris first started flying out of DFW in 2015 with three weekly flights to Guadalajara.
