Dallas/Fort Worth pilots voted for the new contract with American along the same percentages as the entire union, according to contract vote totals released by the Allied Pilots Association on Friday.

The union said 11,738 pilots voted in the contract ratification with 7,709, or 65.68 percent voting in favor, while 4,029, or 34.32 percent voted against. The DFW vote total was 66.32 percent in favor and 33.68 percent against with 2,485 pilots voting.

Only the pilots base in Miami voted against the contract with 993, or 54.62 percent, rejecting the contract while 825 pilots, or 45.38 percent voted in favor.
