Southwest Airlines said its passenger traffic rose 6.4 percent in May as the company continued to add capacity to its network.
The Dallas-based carrier said its capacity increased 4.6 percent and its load factor waws a record 85.8 percent, up 1.4 percentage points when compared to May 2015.
Southwest reiterated to investors that it expects a “modest increase” in its second quarter unit revenues.
