Dallas/Fort Worth Airport expects more than 3 million travelers for Spring Break, an increase of 2.7 percent over last year.
To make traveling easier on customers, the airport is offering free smoothies in all five terminals each Friday in March. It also launched a parking promotion where the first 1,000 vehicles to enter DFW’s parking plazas on Monday, March 7 and on Monday, March 14 are offered up to seven free days of terminal parking.
“With spring break now upon us, we wanted to make sure customers have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience through DFW Airport,” said DFW Airport’s executive vice president of revenue management Ken Buchanan.
The airport recently upgraded its new mobile app to include six additional languages. It also is the first U.S. airport to support the Apple Watch platform with its app.
