Getting to the Bay Area from Dallas Love Field is a little easier.
Southwest Airlines launched service Tuesday to San Francisco and Oakland, the last two destinations that the carrier had previously announced they would add as part of its post-Wright Amendment expansion plan at Love Field. There is one non-stop flight per day to the two new cities.
With the addition of the two Bay Area airports, Southwest now has 33 nonstop destinations from Dallas Love Field and has increased to 153 daily flights at the airport closest to its headquarters.
