It rained and rained and rained at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport in May, causing a sinkhole to open up near one of the airport’s runways.
The sinkhole, caused by a storm drain dislodging from the main line, measured 25 feet by 25 feet. The airport shut down the runway while crews inspected the hole, delaying hundreds of flights.
