American Airlines is staying put in Fort Worth.
In October, the airline announced it will build a new headquarters campus about a mile from its existing headquarters on Amon Carter Blvd.
The $350 million project received a $21.25 million tax incentive package from the city of Fort Worth. American plans to locate about 5,000 employees at the corporate campus which will consist of about four buildings.
American plans to tear down its old 1980s headquarters on Trinity Blvd. for its new corporate campus. The campus should be open by the fall of 2018.
