A Southwest Airlines aircraft ended up in a ditch off the runway at Nashville International Airport on Tuesday evening.
The aircraft, which arrived at 5:20 p.m. EST, had landed safely and “exited the taxiway” as it was approaching the gate, the Dallas-based airline said in a statement.
“The 133 passengers and five crewmembers were safely transported into the airport, and we are currently working to support their needs,” Southwest said in a statement.
In August, a Southwest aircraft skidded off the runway in Orlando as it was being pulled to a maintenance hangar.
