American Airlines says November passenger traffic up 4.3 percent

American Airlines said passenger traffic rose 4.3 percent in November as the airline slightly decreased its capacity by 0.2 percent.

Planes were full as the Fort Worth-based carrier said its load factor grew 3.5 percentage points to 81.2 percent when compared to November 2014.

American reaffirmed its fourth quarter guidance, telling investors that it expects its unit revenues to be down 5 to 7 percent.
