-United Airlines reached an agreement in principle with its pilots union to extend pilots’ current contract to the end of 2019, according to the Wall Street Journal. The 12,000 pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association will not vote on the contract extension until the union leadership decides whether to accept the terms.

-Southwest Airlines sued its ground workers union in federal court in Dallas last week, alleging the union had engaged in illegal work actions. The Dallas Morning News reported that the union does not plan to disrupt Thanksgiving holiday travel with possible sickouts and refutes the airline’s allegations.

-American Airlines lost and then found a Boston marathon bombing victim’s prosthetic leg, according to this Boston TV station report. Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a professional dancer, said the airline lost her luggage on a recent trip that included dance equipment and the leg. American reported that the leg had been found on Friday.
