-A Southwest Airlines flight headed to San Francisco on Sunday night, returned to Los Angeles after two passengers apparently got into a fight on the aircraft. USA Today reports that the incident may have started when one passenger reclined her seat into the other passenger. Southwest said the pilot chose to return to Los Angeles because of a “rapidly escalating situation involving passengers who were not traveling together.”

-US Airways final flight, #1939, made ceremonial stops in Charlotte, Phoenix and San Francisco before landing in Philadelphia on Saturday morning. While I was not on the flight, Airways News’ Chris Sloan did all four legs. Here’s his trip report of the end of US Airways along with several photos from the last flights.

-And Ned Russell of Flightglobal.com put together this blog post that shows how US Airways’ network has changed dramatically over the years. The historical photos of all the route maps that start in 1964 and move forward is an interesting look at how the airline industry has certainly changed over the decades.
