The Gulfstream IV is decked out in a maroon-and-white Texas A&M University livery with the school logo on its tail. The aircraft is owned by Fort Worth’s Robert Albritton who was named to the school’s board of regents by Gov. Greg Abbott earlier this year.
The plane headed to Easterwood Field in College Station on Thursday afternoon and then to Ainsworth, Nebraska before coming back to its hangar at Meacham.
Albritton, who runs several entities in the oil and gas industry and real estate business, will be on the A&M board until 2021.
