Raptor pilot brings his plane home for airshow
If you live up in north Fort Worth, make sure you look up this weekend as an F-22 Raptor or Blue Angel may be flying around.
The 25th Fort Worth Alliance Air Show is going on this Saturday and Sunday at Alliance Airport. While the show is free, parking is $30. Gates open at 9 a.m. with the air show running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
In Friday’s Star-Telegram, we featured Capt. Patrick Pottinger, a TCU grad who piloted one of the two F-22 jets from its base in Florida to Fort Worth for the air show. Performers at the show include the Breitling Jet Team and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
