Students from local high schools got a taste of various careers in aviation at a week-long summer camp held at Alliance Airport last week.
The camp was put on by various instructors at the University of North Texas and Tarrant County College with assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration. Students got to fly in a Cessna, head up to the air traffic control tower and take apart an aircraft engine during the camp.
