Southwest Airlines’ flight dispatchers voted overwhelming in favor of a new four-year contract.
Ninety-five percent of the dispatchers approved the contract which includes pay increase and bonuses for the employees.
“The company values our dispatchers, as evidenced by this agreement,” said Transport Workers Union local 550 president Mike Connor in a statement. “This group works around the clock to support the operation and plays a vital role in getting our passengers to their destinations safely and efficiently.”
