Qantas Airways said it is boosting capacity on the longest scheduled commercial flight in the world, but just for the upcoming holiday season.
The airline said it will move to daily service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Sydney from December 8 to January 19 because of increased demand.
Qantas currently operates six flights a week on the route, using a double-decker A380 that carries 484 passengers.
“We are focused on giving our customers more choice at a time of year they want to travel,” the airline said in a statement.
