Hello, Europe!

In September, American Airlines announced it will launch seasonal service from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport to Rome and Amsterdam. The Fort Worth-based carrier plans to use a Boeing 767-300 on its flight to Amsterdam and a Boeing 777-200 on its flight to Rome.

The announcement came one week after the airport board approved a new incentive plan for airlines to add flights to target destinations, including Europe. American will qualify for $4 million in incentives for the two European routes, the airport said.

The new flights will operate from May to September during the busy summer travel season.

Here’s the article with the new route announcements.
