Flight crew training instructors and simulator pilot instructors at American Airlines approved a new five-year contract that will go into effect on Nov. 21.
The 330 employees, who are represented by the Transport Workers Union, work at training centers in Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte and Phoenix. The new contract includes industry-leading pay, the Fort Worth-based carrier said.
“Our instructors are the best in the business, and now we have a contract in place that rewards them for their excellence,” said American’s vice president of flight Kimball Stone.
