American Airlines said it has reached a new tentative agreement with its flight crew training instructors and simulator instructors on Tuesday.
The details of the new joint collective bargaining agreement will be released by the Transport Workers Union. The deal still needs to be ratified by the 300 instructors who are stationed at training centers in Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte and Phoenix.
“We have the best instructors in the business and we’re pleased to have reached an agreement that recognizes their importance and contributions to our airline,” said American’s vice president of flight Kimball Stone.
