Kings at Stars

7:30 p.m. Tuesday, American Airlines Center, Dallas

TV: FSSW  Radio: KTCK/1310 AM and 96.7 FM

Records: Kings 6-4-2, 14 points; Stars 4-3-4, 12 points

About the Kings: The defending Stanley Cup champions are struggling on the road, falling to 0-3-2 after Sunday’s 3-2 loss at Carolina. Tuesday is the final of a five-game road trip. Tanner Pearson leads the team with seven goals and was NHL rookie of the month for October but he has no points in the past four games. Tyler Toffoli has six goals, including three short-handed, and Jeff Carter has five to give the Kings plenty of scoring options. C Jordan Nolan will not be available as he finishes a two-game suspension for a boarding penalty last Friday.

About the Stars: The Stars are 0-2-2 in their last four games and 1-0-4 at home. Tyler Seguin, with seven goals, missed Monday’s practice to have wisdom teeth removed. ... Trevor Daley is tied for second in the NHL with four power-play goals. RW Ales Hemski, who was hurt Saturday at Minnesota, is listed as probable.
