About the Mavericks: They have not had a losing streak longer than two games this season. They’ve been faced with that predicament seven previous times and halted the skid with a victory. Now they’re faced with it again. ... The Mavericks lost two games to the Nuggets in a three-day span in November, once in Denver and once in Dallas. ... The Nuggets welcomed the return of point guard Ty Lawson on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was Lawson’s first game since he broke a rib Feb. 8 against Detroit.
