Yes and yes. Canada has already said they’re selling the oil to one or more countries if it’s not sold to the U.S. The two countries most mentioned are China and Russia. I’d rather the oil go to the U.S., recognizing full well that the U.S. needs to get serious about using alternative and renewable forms of energy. Oil has more uses than just for energy, though. Absolutely. Pipelines are much safer for the environment than shipping crude oil by rail and that is a statistical fact. Bob Mearns
