The daily STEW (Star-Telegram Editorial Writers): Fort Worth has named 18-year veteran employee Bryan Beck as its new “transportation czar,” giving him responsibility over major, long-term mobility projects like the I-35W expansion, TEX Rail and high-speed rail that will impact the city and the region. What would you like to see Beck focus on as he starts his new assignment?

Fort Worth needs a Camp Bowie trolley that circulates between downtown and the west side. It needs to be cheap to ride and pass by at 10- to 15-minute intervals. Every business, museum and restaurant would benefit, not to mention the reduction in traffic and parking hassles. David
