There was already a conservative in the race, Dwayne Stovall, to whom many grassroots leaders were already committed, because he was the only Tea Party conservative to step up and challenge Cornyn on principle. Stockman was asked several times if he was going to run before we made up our minds. Stockman has seriously misjudged the Tea Party. Now we have an open congressional seat that was safe and sound before, that we need to look to fill, and Stockman will undoubtedly have more to say in the coming days.

The Cornyn-Stockman choice is choosing the lesser of two evils. Why choose evil at all? Why did this article not include mention of Dwayne Stovall? Is he not included because of media bias? Herb Rabinowitz
