A minor earthquake was reported Monday morning near Irving, the third temblor in as many days in that area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 2.3-magnitude earthquake shook the ground about three miles northeast of Irving at 7:06 a.m., officials with the USGS reported.
A 2.5-magnitude earthquake shook the area just north of Texas 183 at Century Center Boulevard in Irving at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, the USGS reported.
Locals took to Twitter just the night before about a 3.3-magnitude earthquake centered near the old Texas Stadium, just 2.5 miles from Sunday’s quake, at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, the geological agency reported.
A 2.2-magnitude quake shook an area outside Irving earlier this month, the Star-Telegram previously reported.
