Police Department employees joined forces with Santa on Wednesday evening at the Arlington Convention Center to hand out gifts to dozens of economically disadvantaged families.

The 27th Arlington Police Department/Arlington Police Association Santa Cops program at the Arlington Convention Center also featured holiday music and refreshments.

Santa Cops organizers identify families in need of assistance with the help of social workers and counselors at Arlington schools. In the weeks leading up to the party, members of the police association collected toys and worked with volunteers to sort the them.
