In the galleries: Past reinvented at Gallery 414

“Memory Lane — Closed for Deconstruction,” with works by Andy Anderson, Charles Coldewey, Terri Cummings, Sarina Fuhrmann, Elizabeth Holden, Melba Northum and Karen Weinman, will open Saturday at Gallery 414 with a reception for the artists from 6 to 9 p.m. It’s based on Harold Pinter’s dictum, “The past is what you remember, imagine you remember, convince yourself you remember, or pretend to remember.” The exhibit is about this ability to modify memories for reinvention, as told through the artists’ sculptures, prints, drawings, paintings and film. “Memory Lane” will be on exhibit through Jan. 18. 414 Templeton Drive, Fort Worth. 817-336-6595; www.gallery414.org.
