McAlister’s Deli will open its third Fort Worth restaurant in a neighborhood shopping center being developed in the Alliance area of north Fort Worth.
The Mississippi-based franchise chain, which specializes in sandwiches and soups, will open a 3,500-square-foot location at 9604 N. Riverside Drive, at the northeast corner of Old Denton Road and Heritage Trace Parkway.
The shopping center is being developed by JBL Asset Management. Roger Smeltzer and Barrett England with Vision Commercial Realty, and Bryan Dyer and Trip Green with The Woodmont Co. negotiated lease.
In Tarrant County, McAlister’s also has restaurants in Arlington, Colleyville, North Richland Hills and Southlake.
Separately, Salata, which bills itself as the next-generation salad bar, has leased 2,309 square feet of space in the GrandMarc at Westberry Place, at 2864 W. Berry St. It is scheduled to open in August. The Houston-based company also has a location in Sundance Square.

Universal Nutrients, a manufacturer of sports nutrition supplements, has signed a long-term lease for 130,128 square feet of industrial space at 14801 Sovereign Road in Fort Worth.
Trey Fricke and Reid Bassinger with Lee & Associates represented the tenant. The landlord, MLRP 14801 Sovereign Llc., was represented in-house by Matthew Smith.
expands in Arlington
Waste Track Services, a Granbury-based recycler, has leased 52,198 square feet at an industrial site in the Great Southwest Industrial District in Arlington.
The company will move in May to 2920 Ave. F from its existing location at 833 S. Great Southwest Parkway in Grand Prairie. The company also has locations in Eagan, Minn., and Memphis.

1151 Mansfield Road, Arlington
The Mansfield school district has bought the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church property. Gene Livens with Service Realty represented the seller.

SkyWalker Property Partners has bought a 70,111-square-foot office/warehouse from Invensys Inc. in Massachusetts for the Hangover Opportunity Fund. Theron Bryant with Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance DFW represented the buyer. Allen Gump with Colliers International represented the seller.
