And now, Donald and Hillary: the burger battle

The Donald burger at Del Frisco’s Grille wants you to know that it’s the best burger ever. You won’t believe what a great burger it is. Believe it, it’s a great burger.

DFW.com has had four burger battles since 2009. But we’ve never had a matchup quite like the one that Del Frisco’s Grille has concocted.

For a limited time, DFG will offer the Donald burger and the Hillary burger. We don’t have to tell you who they’re named after.

The Donald burger is described in a release as “ the Donald burger, a well done prime beef patty with aged cheddar cheese, heirloom tomato and Bibb lettuce on a gold leaf bun, served with a side of teeny, tiny little pickles (wink, wink).” That “wink, wink” is in the release, by the way. We didn’t add it.

And then there’s the description of the Hillary. Or the lack of description. “What’s on the Hillary? That’s classified information — Grille guests must email ‘Hillary burger?’— to TheHillary@dfrg.com to receive burger details.” Presumably you can also just take your chances and order the burger without knowing what’s going to happen.

So you can go to any Del Frisco’s Grille in DFW and support your burger. Or you can just decide not to eat either burger and hope something else on the menu will appeal to you. They;ll be available for a limited time, but we suspect that it will feel like much longer.

DFG has locations in Fort Worth (154 E. Third St.) on Sundance Square Plaza), Southlake (1200 E. Southlake Blvd.), Dallas (3232 McKinney Ave.) and Plano (7200 Bishop Road, Suite D9).
