Richard Rawlings, the North Texas man behind the autocentric Discovery hit TV series Fast N’ Loud and the Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill restaurant/club, is expanding his empire.
According to the Dallas Morning News, he will be launching a “fast-food casual drive-in” chain with big-screen TV’s and rock’n’roll playing. The first one is planned for Dallas but he’s thinking of taking the concept across the country.
Meanwhile, another Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill is set to open in Key West this month. Speaking of which, take-offs on the restaurant will be opening in Mashantucket, Connecticut and Fort Hood, Texas under the name of The Garage. These locations won’t feature live music.
Finally, there will be a Gas Monkey energy drink as well as Hot Wheels toys.
