HG Sply Co., the paleo-centric Dallas restaurant and bar on Lowest Greenville Avenue in Dallas, is heading west for its second location. Specifically, heading to WestBend.
That’s the shopping center off of Fort Worth’s University Drive that’s also home to the Fort Worth location of East Hampton Sandwich Co., Zoe’s Kitchen and Silver Fox, and will soon be home to a Fresh Market upscale grocery store.
But it’s the food part that got our attention, naturally. According to the release, the new HG Sply will be a 3,800-square-foot location with a 5,000-square foot patio along the Trinity River and Trinity Trails. The rooftop patio at the Dallas HG Sply Co. made our 2014 list of best patios in DFW, and it looks like the Fort Worth one is going to keep that top-patio tradition.
“The neighborhood restaurant and bar is committed to serving a menu using all-natural ingredients that balances great flavor with natural, unprocessed foods,” the release says. “They believe carefully curated ingredients through local sourcing (some of which come from their own garden) can make even the most wholesome dish taste indulgent.”

(No word on a move for HG Sply Co.’s sister restaurant, Remedy, but we can dream, can’t we?)
Besides the aforementioned food tenants, a location of Grimaldi’s Coal-Brick Oven Pizzeria is scheduled to open in the fall. HG Sply Co. is scheduled to open in late 2015.
