To honor past and present members of the U.S. military, several Dallas-Fort Worth area restaurants and attractions are offering free food and admission fees on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. Here are just some of the offers:

Free services on Veterans Day

Great Clips: Veterans can come into any U.S. Great Clips salon on Wednesday, November 11 and receive a free haircut that day or receive a free haircut card to be used before the end of the year. In addition, anyone who stops in for a service at any Great Clips Salon on Veterans Day will get a free haircut card to give to a veteran. The free haircut card is redeemable by all current and past members of the military and is valid until December 31, 2015. Details: http://www.greatclips.com/promotions/veterans-day

National parks: The National Park Service will waive all entrance fees for everyone on Wednesday, November 11. While in a park, active duty members of the military and their dependents can pick up a free annual pass to all national parks. Disabled veterans can get a free lifetime pass. The passes provide free entrance to more than 2,000 national parks, wildlife refuges, national forests, and other federal recreational areas.
