Some restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are offering free or discounted food for children dressed up on Halloween. Here’s a sampling:

Pollo Tropical: Kids in costume get a free kid’s meal on all day on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, with the purchase of an adult entree. The promotion is available at all Texas Pollo Tropical locations. Guests can also purchase Treat Books for $1 at all Pollo Tropical restaurants and receive coupons for three free regular fountain drinks and $2 off a Create Your Own Family Meal, all redeemable throughout November. The books are available through October 31, while supplies last, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the USA Swimming Foundation, which promotes lifesaving swimming lessons for children across the nation.
