Frontier Forts Days: This two-day heritage event brings together authentic wagons, flags, music, colorful uniforms and military gear from Texas landmarks. Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards will be lined with encampments of historic fort sites from the Texas Forts Trail and elsewhere in Texas. Activities include infantry, artillery and cavalry demonstrations and military parades.

Watters Creek Fine Arts Festival: This three-day juried art festival includes arts and crafts and live entertainment. There will also be children's activities such as face painting and art activities.

CityArts Festival: This three-day festival presented by TXU Energy showcasing cultural, performing, visual and culinary arts. Activities include music, entertainment, dance, and other performing arts on multiple stages. A Children's Area will include arts and crafts, interactive activities and special entertainment. There will also be multidisciplinary demonstrations and workshops.

Good to know: Parking is $12

Sounds of Spring Concert Series: The whole family can enjoy the music of Django Walker. North Richland Hills' own The Cut Off will open at 6:50 p.m. Children can enjoy the Kidz Zone with a variety of games and arts and crafts.

Good to know: Don't forget to bring lawn chairs. Beaker's Cookin' Shack at NRH2O will be selling snacks. Smoking, video recording, audio recording, glass containers and alcohol are prohibited. A fireworks show will follow tonight's performance

North Texas Beat: African Village Night: Live African drummers and dancing hosted by KUMAASI African Ensemble. You can bring your drum and join the circle.

Yoga in the Park: Complimentary all-level yoga class in CenterPark. This is a great way to try out local instructors!  Wear comfortable clothing and bring your mat or towel and water bottle.
