Restaurant Week is coming up.
But first, it's Go Texan Week.
The annual statewide celebration of Texas food and wine includes restaurant specials this year.
And -- does this sound familiar? -- a portion of each restaurant check will go to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Grace is celebrating Texas groceries all next week, with a menu featuring brioche-stuffed Bandera quail and Brazos Valley tenderloin.
The early courses include a watermelon-arugula salad with Brazos Valley feta. Dessert is a vanilla-roasted Texas peach. Dinner sells for $49, or $69 with excellent Texas wines from the Becker and McPherson wineries.
Of each check, $10 goes to the food bank. Grace is at 777 Main St.; 817-877-3388, www.gracefortworth.com.
Grace is also one of more than 125 North Texas restaurants serving a $35 dinner during Restaurant Week, Aug. 12-Sept. 3, with $7 going to the Lena Pope Home children's agency.
Grace's menu features a choice of a petite filet or flounder Milanese, with either chocolate pudding cake or Texas pecan-red velvet cake for dessert.
Other Restaurant Week highlights so far: garlic-stuffed tenderloin at Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, andouille-stuffed pork loin at Bonnell's, rib-eye with garlic-serrano sauce at Wild Mushroom, steak-and-oysters at Truluck's in Southlake.
These reservations go quickly, so book soon. Call your favorite restaurant to find out more -- most participate in the event -- or find the list at dfw.cbslocal.com/krld-restaurant-week/.
