These three recipes were all fun and easy to make with the kids. Surprisingly they're all berry yummy too.
Strawberry Crispy Squares
Prep time: 15 minutesMakes 12 servings, 2 squares each
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine1 bag (10oz.) Jet-Puffed Strawberry Mallows6 cups rice crisp cereal
Microwave butter in a large microwaveable bowl on High 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to coat.
Microwave 1 1/2 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 sec.
Add cereal; mix well.
Press firmly into greased 13x9-inch pan. Cool completely before cutting into 24 squares to serve.
Strawberry Marshmallow Cookie Sandwich
Place one of your favorite cookies, bottom side up, on microwaveable plate; top with marshmallow. Microwave on HIGH a few seconds (10-15) until marshmallow is puffed. Top with second cookie; press together gently to secure.
What we used: We used plain sugar cookies from Target (Market pantry). We also drizzled some with chocolate and added sprinkles for a festive touch. You could even make a strawberry version of traditional Smores with graham crackers and chocolate.
Dip marshmallows in melted Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, then in colored sprinkles. Let stand until chocolate is set.
Mom tip: Lightly shake sprinkles on chocolate coated marshmallow. Dipping was way too messy. Refrigerate to set chocolate.
