Kids love dinosaurs. They also love the awesome things technology can do with light. So you can't miss with Corbian the Dinosaur, which arrives at Bass Hall next week as part of Performing Arts Fort Worth's family series.
Corbian offers a story told through puppets made from electroluminescent wire, a neon ballet of light dancing through the darkness. The story -- about a dinosaur, assembled by a scientist, that is given a heart and discovers compassion -- is told with music and the movement of light in simple sketches, turning the coldness of colored light into a warm storytelling tool.
