Rodeo, Russell Feed go pink
It's a true Cowtown effort to fight breast cancer: Fort Worth-based Russell Feed & Supply has teamed up with Purina's "Pink 50 Campaign" and the Stockyards Championship Rodeo to help fight breast cancer in rural areas. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, customers at any of Russell's six locations can purchase a special pink bag of Purina feed -- for horses, chickens, goats, rabbits, you name it -- or make a donation to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and receive two tickets to the rodeo. Russell Feed will make a donation of 50 cents for each bag sold in October to the Komen Fort Worth affiliate. The rodeo will be doing its part by hosting Pink Night Out every Friday in October at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Donations will be collected during the rodeo, and T-shirts will be available to purchase. More info: www.russellfeedandsupply.com, www.purinamills.com/Pink50.
