Reality-TV show pilot to film in Fort Worth this weekend

You've heard of Project Runway. This is Project Cowboy, a reality-TV-show pilot being filmed in Fort Worth this weekend .

Project Cowboy is looking for "the next great American horseman," and 175 competitors will take on a three-day series of challenges to see who's best. On Friday, all the cowboy competitors will show off their horsemanship, saddle skills and screen talent. Just 75 of them will be brought back for Saturday's round, which includes a contest that requires them to -- get this -- "ride their own horses through an obstacle course while answering rapid-fire, random questions on horsemanship, horse anatomy ... horse myths and theology." Ooookay.

By Sunday, it'll be down to the top 10, and a winner will be selected by midafternoon.

This promises to be quite a show. You can go online to order a three-day pass to Project Cowboy, or you can get a $20 day pass at the door. See the website for more details and a complete schedule of events.
