Kids have gone back to school -- and this weekend, Dallas Children's Theater does, too, when it kicks off its season with Miss Nelson Is Missing!
You know the story: Miss Nelson, the nicest teacher with the worst class ever, decides to really teach her students a lesson. She disappears, and leaves the class with Miss Viola Swamp, a substitute who doesn't allow recess, story time or any fun at all. The kids, desperate to get Miss Nelson back, go on a mission to find her, even hiring a private detective. They learn to appreciate their teacher as they conduct the search.
The play, adapted from the book by Harry G. Allard Jr. and James Marshall, is designed for kids 5 and older.
